Ernie Johnson: 2026-27 Is His Final Season on ‘Inside the NBA’
Ernie Johnson, 70, announced in a video posted to X on Wednesday that this season, his 37th hosting TNT Sports’ “Inside the NBA,” will be his last. “Totally my decision. It’s just time,” he said. He stressed he is not retiring: he will keep working March Madness and other TNT and CBS projects, and has started a production company, 32 Bowties, for feel-good sports stories. Charles Barkley said last month he would leave if Johnson did.
