Israel Turnout Hits 77.7% at Poll Close; Exit Polls Show No Bloc at 61
Preliminary: 77.7% of eligible voters, 5,695,682 people, had voted when polls closed at 10 p.m., the highest at that point since 1999 and well above 2022’s final 70.6%, the Central Elections Committee said. It is not final: late voters and double-envelope ballots are still to come. TV exit polls, estimates rather than results, give no bloc the 61 seats needed; Likud is the largest party. Official results are not out; counting may run to Friday.
